Back on the guest mix trail here on the Disc Breaks show – this week we’re featuring rising star and top bloke Home Alone.
Dino Home Alone is one of the most prolific artists I know, and he doesn’t substitute quality for quantity either – always solid and always with a great hook, his tracks and remixes have featured consistently on the show and across sets worldwide. Recently I got to work with him on a collaboration track called Harbinger, that was released last week on VIM records, so I’m stoked to have him on the show! This set is chock full of his new tunes and remixes, so you better not miss it!
Home Alone
After more than a decade of playing bass in rock and pop bands across Italy, Dino Z aka Home Alone took it upon himself to learn the craft of electronic music production. It didn’t take long for acid stalwarts Dead Famous to take notice of him, and his first release as a techno producer came out in January of 2010 receiving positive feedback and support from the techno and breakbeat scenes all over the world.
Home Alone’s 2010 turned out more than prolific, with originals and remixed material coming out on some of the best breakbeat labels around. His efforts in the past year granted him the Best New Producer nomination at Breakspoll 2011.
