It’s been a little while between guest mixes on the Disc Breaks show, but I’m getting back into the swings of thing and have a stack of quality features coming over the next couple of months. First up we have a guy who’d grabbed my attention through mixes he’d been posting on Hybridized.org – always solid and deep with a great flow – so I hit him up for a guest mix and here it is!
Rick Tedesco
Rick Tedesco is a DJ of many forms & styles of electronic music. The majority of his mixes you will find to be breaks driven; ranging from the mild melodic, atmospheric & progressive to the higher energetic, psy/nuskool style all dependent upon mood, atmosphere and occasion. You will also find Rick mixing deep & tech house along with liquid drum n bass and the occasional progressive dubstep.
Although a long time fan of electronic music, Rick has only been mixing for a couple of years and is relatively new to the electronic music scene, yet continues to gain recognition for his mixes as an established up and coming DJ. In late 2010 opportunities really began to present themselves with live shows at local parties in his town of Dallas, TX, along with exclusive mixes aired on Kick106.co.uk and Twistedenergy.co.uk. Also, currently in the process of piecing together equipment for a home studio setup, a stab at production will be Rickís next step forward.
Big thanks to Rick for the great guest mix – chock full of the quality deep stuff. Bit of a shorter mix from me, I missed a flight back from Sydney and didn’t get home in time, so my mix was a little haphazard 😉 Lots more quality guest mixes coming in the next couple of months!
